The red KL
base, 3-Amino-4-Methoxybenzamide, produced by our works, is made
from 3-niro-4-methoxy benzoic acid by processes of condensation
with ammonia and reduction. It is developer with higher fastness
among ice dyestuffs and mainly used for printing of cotton, staple
fibre and yarn of ramie, flax, etc. In the fields of dyeing, manufacturing
of organic pigments, coloring of printing ink and coating printing-paste,
it also finds application.
